What is a sound bath?

“It’s an integrative healing technique that uses vibrational instruments to induce relaxation and potentially other pleasurable feelings,” Tamara Goldsby, a research psychologist in the department of family medicine and public health at the University of California, San Diego, told TODAY. “The most common instruments that are used are called singing bowls and those are either metal or a composite of seven metal alloys or crystal quartz and those produce a very unique type of sound.”

Our Sound Baths go a few steps further; guided into restorative yoga postures that help open the body to the vibration of the sound healing. Our collaboration is not just with each other but with you. We learn about your health and atune the practice to help reach those visions. Our goal is to help you heal in the most aligned way.

Meet the Sound Bath Healers

Kris Lingham

Kris Lingham is a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, sound healer, spiritual student, and advocate for holistic and mental health. Kris was first introduced to meditation in 2006, where she learned the fundamentals of intentional living. In 2017, after several distressing experiences, Kris decided to practice meditation full-time to assist with acknowledging and understanding the losses, attachments, anger, and anxiety associated with those experiences. On her journey of healing, Kris felt it was necessary to share what she was learning in hopes of encouraging others to begin their quest of returning to their authentic self; in June 2020, she released an audio meditation series on digital streaming platforms, aimed at helping the listener embark on a self-healing journey. What started as a therapeutic release project for herself, her close friends and family, turned into the catalyst for her teaching journey. Kris now collaborates with individuals, small businesses, and corporations to help them bring clarity, intentionality, and authenticity into their everyday routines. She centers her work around the same teachings that helped her survive stressful times in her life and hopes to help bridge the gap for communities who oftentimes overlook and incorrectly label holistic tools as ineffective or inaccessible.

Sound baths combine the power of yoga and sound healing together. Let the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments integrated with customized yoga poses take you on a journey of relaxation and inner peace.
